Really you can glue these simple neon bows to anything, hair clips, shoe clips, earring posts, you name it. I wanted bows for my fave sneaks. You will need:
- Neon duck tape
- Needle and thread
- Shoe Clips
- Ruler
- Cutting mat and rotary cutter, it’s easiest with these tools but I’m sure you could manage with scissors
- Glue or more needle and thread
First, roll out your duck tape and cut a piece 8 inches long.

Next, place the ruler so that the end of it is down the middle of your strip of duck tape. Use it to hold one side down while you fold the other side over.

Repeat on the other side, leaving a small string of white in the center.

Make two. Using your needle and thread sew a gather stitch down the middle of your bow.

Pull it tight to gather the center of your bow. Use the extra thread to wrap around the middle. Tie a knot at the back.

Now at this point you have some choices. You can leave the thread exposed like I did. Or you can take a thing strip of duck tape around the middle to cover the exposed thread. It’s up to you. Then, glue the shoe clips to the back. Let dry.

Enjoy!

I love the bright color contrasted with the purple. They look beyond easy! Very nice!
Woah! I’m really digging the template/theme of this blog. It’s simple, yet effective. A lot of times it’s hard to get that “perfect balance” between user friendliness and appearance. I must say that you’ve done a amazing job with this. Additionally, the blog loads extremely fast for me on Firefox. Superb Blog!
