{DIY} Lip Scrub

DIY-Lip-Scrub

Making your own sugar lip scrub is super easy. You will need:

  • Sugar
  • Oil (I used castor oil but you could also use jojoba or coconut)
  • Peppermint Essential Oil
  • A pretty glass jar

Mix 1 part oil with 2-3 parts sugar and add in about 10 drops of essential oil and boom, you are all set. To use it, gently massage it onto your lips, the oil will soften your lips up and the sugar will slough off all the chappy parts. After a couple of minutes, use a warm wash cloth to remove the scrub and finish up with your favorite lip balm. Your lips with be soft and smooth and your breath will be minty fresh.

What an awesome tutorial! I have been meaning to make my own lip scrub for a long time. They are usually so expensive to buy in stores!

I nominated you for a Liebster Award on my blog :) You can check out what to do next by reading my post on it!

I’ve tried making a lip scrub using organic brown sugar and oil. I’ve never used the peppermint oil. I think I’d like the tingle. This is a must try. Thanks! Visiting from SITS.
