So last week I asked you guys for help coming up with some resolutions for my happiness project this month. Love was proving to be too archetypal for me to come up with specific resolutions for each day. I got some great ideas, but you know how Gretchen says that when you are ready to learn a teacher will appear, or something like that….

Well, a while back ago I read Add More Ing to Your Life by Gabrielle Bernstein and promptly forgot everything. For whatever reason, it just didn’t sink in. I loved it, it resonated with me but I think I just wasn’t ready for it yet. Then a couple of weeks ago, Erin tweeted about Gabby and I remembered how much I enjoyed the book and set to digging around for it, only to discover, I’m pretty sure I lost the book.
Not to worry my friends, she has come out with another gem, and what do you know, it is exactly what I needed. May Cause Miracles is written as a 40 day course to guide you through subtle shifts in your thinking. If you’ve already read A Course In Miracles
Gabby’s book might be a little to easy for you. What she teaches is really a guideline of how to incorporate the teachings from the Course into your daily life. So, how does this apply to my month of love? I’ll tell you.
A big part of the book is about letting go of your fears by filling yourself up with love, some of the weeks are even dedicated to loving yourself. I started the course on Saturday and was having such a great time with it that my BF decided to do it with me. So I went back and restarted it. Can I just break and how grateful I am to have a partner that I able to connect with spiritually as well as physically, emotionally, ethically and mentally? So grateful!
Each day we are starting out with reading a morning meditation, setting an alarm for that day’s affirmation to pop up throughout the day and then at night, we’ve been writing in our journals and meditating together. It’s #totesamaze.
So without further ado, my Month of Love resolutions:
- Stick with May Cause Miracles, it’s going to take me longer than the month of Feb, but I’m cool with that.
- Hug myself every day. A big THANK YOU to Nellie of Brooklyn Active Mama for coming up with this one.
- Remember that, there is only love. This one hails from The Happiness Project
itself.
So what do you think? Talk to me friends I absolutely love to hear from you.
Also, remember this is a bloghop so check out how other blogger’s are doing on their own Happiness Projects. If you want to participate but don’t have a blog, check out Erin’s Facebook group, details are on her blog.

Thank you Joi!
It is SO wonderful that your BF wants to do that stuff with you! My husband is not so into new-agey spirituality. He supports me, but I am meditation and journaling on my own.

Great resolutions! I don’t know about picking up May Cause Miracles, but 2 and 3 are something anyone and everyone should do!

You know what’s funny, he is so much more into yoga than me. I’m always happy once I go, it’s just I have to drag myself there.
This is great to hear and I think you have some awesome goals to work on! I’m excited to hear how it works out. Happy Valentine’s Day!!!
