So you know all that perler bead jewelry we’ve been making? Now, let’s make a small jewelry dish to keep it in. I know, I know, I was supposed to get all of my perler bead love out of my system during #perlerbeadweek, but the thing is, I really have fun with them. Am I crazy?
- Perler beads
- An oven safe bowl
First, pour about a tablespoon of oil into your oven safe bowl. Then use a paper towel to spread it around evenly. Pour the perler beads in. Use your fingers to press the beads down into the bowl. As you press the beads down they will start to move up the side of the bowl. Now you don’t have to be as ambitious as me, it will work if you don’t turn all of the beads the same direction, but if you take the time, it will make it so your dish has a much more even look.
Once you have the beads set how you want them. Bake it for about 10 minutes on 375 degrees farenheit.
