Avocado on toast is one of my favorite things on the planet. Seriously. There isn’t much better than the creaminess of the avocado mashed over the warmth of the toast. Don’t forget the sea salt. It’s my dream. When I saw a recipe for it in Crazy Sexy Kitchen (also available here on Kris Carr’s website) I scoffed. That’s right, scoffed. I could not believe that my classic could be improved upon. I stand corrected.
Another key to to amazing avo toast is great bread. I’m GF and I’ve tried almost every kind out there that is vegan friendly. The BEST I’ve found is from City Cakes. If you are ever in Salt Lake City, you have to try it.
It was so yummy, I even used the heel of the bread. It turns out, everything is better with salt and lime.
